L+S+H Architects were commissioned by Tesco/Spenhill to masterplan and design a brownfield town centre site. L+S+H gained detailed planning permission and resolved a CPO Inquiry where we appeared as Architectural Witness. The design was developed to tender stage and delivered by a design & build contractor.

Scheme Overview

The scheme includes retail including a food superstore, cafés and restaurants and generous public realm which links to an existing retail centre and the adjacent 'The Public' arts centre.

L+S+H developed the masterplan from initial concept to detailed proposals, and also fully designed and delivered two key relocation projects for a new Police Command Centre and Primary School.
